With new privacy policy laws, and changes to broswer experience with onine advertsing conversion tracking with fb pixel is not enough. since fb introduce fb Conversion API it is very important to have it for online advertsing.

Reasons: Browsers are becoming less reliable for conversion tracking due to changes like Apple’s ITP that expires cookies after 7 days.
AdBlockers are growing in usage with some estimates stating that up to 27% of users have ad blocking enabled.
Conversion discrepancies between orders and Facebook purchases.
